Applications open now until February 28, 2026
Damascus Open Studios is an annual event that allows the community a “sneak peek” into working artists’ studios. Attendees can use an interactive or printed map to make their way around beautiful Damascus, Oregon to visit artists’ studios where they can learn more about their techniques and inspirations, and make purchases directly from the artists. Damascus Open Studios is open to artists who create works of original design and have a studio/shop/gallery in the Damascus area. Artists outside of Damascus may apply as guest artists to be hosted by one of the open studios.
Damascus Open Studios is always the third weekend in May – this year that’s May 15, 16, and 17, 2026, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. Artists must be present for the entire event.
February 28, 2026 – Applications Due
March 16, 2026 – Artists Notified of Acceptance/Non-Acceptance
March 23, 2026 – Registration Payment Due
Registration Fee for Studio Artist: $90
Registration Fee for Guest Artist: $110
Registration Fee for Student Artist: Waived, 10% of students’ sales to be donated to their school art program.
Late applications may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Late registration fee is $150 for anyone applying after February 28, 2026.
